We urgently require an experienced Project Planning Engineer to provide full planning support to our operations, maintenance, safety and training project teams.
The Planning Engineer will demonstrate strong project planning skills to develop and maintain the overall master work schedule using knowledge of earned value, physical progress measurement and leading indicators for predicting project outcome.
The successful applicant will have a comprehensive knowledge of Primavera P3 and will be responsible for:
Preparing and maintaining detailed schedules at all levels for projects and studies
Developing and maintaining progress and quantity-tracking curves
Problem solving and providing input for weekly and monthly reports
Producing man-hour reports including Level 4 earned value analysis
Developing cost plans using spreadsheets interrogating existing cost reporting and forecasting systems
Managing risk, issue and change control logs with escalation as required
This exciting position requires a planner with experience in the oil and gas industry combined with sound commercial knowledge including the preparation of bids, tenders and marketing plans.
